Brief Summary of  2025 Annual Meeting & Appreciation

On December 21, 2025, Chinese American Community Health Services (CACHS) held its 2025 Annual Meeting & Appreciation at the Greencourt Innovation Center in Maryland. The event brought together over 80 attendees, including volunteers, doctors, community leaders, and government officials from Maryland and Virginia to celebrate the year’s achievements.

2025 Key Achievements

During the meeting, Executive Director Dr. Ningping Feng highlighted several major service milestones from the past year:

  • Health Hotline: Provided over 2,200 consultations to 230 residents via their Chinese help hotline.
  • Educational Programs: Hosted six health lectures for 513 participants and ran a 24-week English Club for 86 residents.
  • Senior Services: Organized “Joy of Aging” activities for 104 seniors and provided 120 free transportation trips for low-income elderly and disabled individuals.
  • Medical Care: Provided free physical exams and flu vaccinations for 105 low-income residents without insurance.

Recognition and Awards

  • Government Commendations: Maryland Secretary of State Susan Lee and other officials presented CACHS with official citations for its outstanding community contributions.
  • Volunteer Honors: The center presented “Outstanding Staff” and “Outstanding Volunteer” awards to several individuals for their selfless dedication.
  • Partnerships: Dr. Feng extended special thanks to various sponsors and partners.
